We’re here to help.

Answers to the most common questions are below. For everything else — one address, a human reads it: hello@qlavis.app.

Contact

Help & questions: hello@qlavis.app — we aim to respond within two business days.

Report abuse: use Block and Report inside the app (open the contact → Report), or email us. We act on valid reports.

Report a security vulnerability: email hello@qlavis.app (see also security.txt). Please give us a chance to fix it before public disclosure.

01 · Account & recovery

Identity, the 12 words, and what we can’t undo

Why is there no phone number, email, or password?

By design. Your Qlavis ID is a cryptographic identity created on your device — we never need to know who you are. Less data about you means less that can ever be leaked, subpoenaed, or sold. It also means there is no “password reset”: your recovery phrase is the only key.

I lost my recovery phrase. Can you restore my account?

No — and that’s the point. The 12-word phrase never leaves your device, and we hold no copy and no backdoor. If the phrase and the device are both gone, the account and any wallet funds are permanently unrecoverable — by you, by us, by anyone. While you still have the app: write the phrase down and store it safely offline.

Why can I use my account on only one device?

One device = one Qlavis ID. Your keys are bound to your device’s secure hardware, which is what makes account takeover so hard. To move to a new device, restore with your 12-word recovery phrase.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your identity and associated data from our servers and wipes local data on the device. Transactions already recorded on public blockchains cannot be deleted — that’s how blockchains work.

02 · Privacy & security

What we can and cannot see

Can Qlavis read my messages or listen to my calls?

No. Messages, calls, files, voice notes, and in-chat payments are end-to-end encrypted on your device with post-quantum cryptography. We hold no key that can decrypt them — and neither would anyone who breached our servers, today or after a working quantum computer exists. Details: the architecture page and the Privacy Policy.

What does Qlavis know about me?

Almost nothing: your @handle, your public keys, an encrypted push token, and a device-binding hash. No phone number, no email, no name, no contacts, no message content. Encrypted message content is deleted from our servers once delivered. Full list: Privacy Policy.

How do I block or report someone?

Open the contact’s screen → Block stops them instantly; Report sends us the reason (spam, harassment, impersonation, inappropriate content, or other) with optional details. We review reports and act on them, up to removing offenders from the service.

Which privacy settings can I control?

Read receipts, online status, typing indicators, last-seen, profile-photo visibility, lock-screen sender hiding, screen protection, incognito keyboard, and biometric/PIN app-lock — each switchable independently in Settings → Privacy & Security.

03 · Wallet

Self-custody, in plain words

Who holds my crypto?

You do — only you. The wallet is non-custodial: your keys are derived from your 12-word phrase on your device, and we never see or store your keys, balances, or transactions. We are software, not a bank or an exchange.

I sent funds to a wrong address. Can you reverse it?

No one can — blockchain transactions are irreversible by design, on any network, in any wallet. Always verify the address, the amount, the network, and any memo or tag before sending.

Which networks and assets are supported?

The Stellar network (XLM, USDC and other Stellar assets) and the XRP Ledger (XRP, RLUSD) — sending, receiving, and in-chat transfers, on mainnet.

04 · The app

Requirements and troubleshooting

Which devices are supported?

iPhone on iOS 26 or later. That requirement is deliberate: iOS 26 ships Apple’s native post-quantum cryptography, which Qlavis runs on with no third-party crypto code. The app is available in English, Spanish, and Russian.

Messages or calls aren’t coming through. What should I try?

First: make sure both sides run the latest version from the App Store, have a network connection, and that notifications are allowed (iOS Settings → Notifications → Qlavis). Then reopen the app — it re-syncs on every launch. Still stuck? Email hello@qlavis.app with what you sent, when, and what you saw — never include your recovery phrase.

Why is there no Android / web / desktop version?

Qlavis is iOS-first while we finish hardening the protocol. Other platforms are on the roadmap — no dates promised until they’re real.

05 · Still stuck?

Talk to us

Email hello@qlavis.app. Describe what happened, what you expected, and roughly when — screenshots help. Never send anyone your 12-word recovery phrase — including us. We will never ask for it.
